Nothing on this furniture depends on a coating. The steel is electropolished, not painted. The upholstery is PFAS-free performance fabric, not chemically treated. Both perform because of what they're made of — which is why caring for them is this simple.
Steel
Rinse with fresh water when it looks like it needs it. There's no schedule. For marks, mild soap on a soft cloth, then rinse and dry to avoid water spots. Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, and bleach. It never needs waxing, sealing, or refinishing.
Please don't tighten the screws. They don't work loose, and a driver will scratch the finish.
If your piece was powder-coated to order, wash it the same way but skip abrasives entirely. A chip is cosmetic — the metal underneath is stainless, not mild steel, so there's nothing there to rust.
Upholstery & Cushions
Brush or vacuum loose dirt. Blot spills as they happen — there's no chemical coating doing it for you. For more, mild soap in lukewarm water with a soft brush, rinse well, dry completely before use. Sunscreen and insect repellent stain fabric permanently. Cushion cores are water-resistant, not waterproof: let them dry fully before storing.
Webbing
Nothing required. It's woven from recycled bottles and military-grade elastic, and rain rinses it. Wipe the 316 stainless buckles whenever you like.
